First of all...thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts! It means so much to me to have such awesome bloggy friends out there!
Mom is HOME! They released her last night, and she is resting at home as we speak (or, as I type...hehe)
Everything seems to be alright, so we are very happy about that.
Thanks again and BIG hugs and kisses to all of you!!!

My Love Affair.....with New Moon (no spoilers)
Thursday, November 19 (morning): IT'S HERE! THE DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! YIPPEE!
(noon): Sheesh...will this day EVER be over so I can leave work and get to the movie?!
(12:01 p.m.): WHAT?! It's only been ONE minute since I looked at the clock?! {patience Summer...patience}
(3:30 p.m.): Alright...I'm outta here! I just can't take it any longer!
(7:30 p.m.): Arrive at mall (where theatre is located) to do a little shopping before meeting my friends at a restaurant around 9ish.
WHOA NELLY! There's already a LINE?!!!! Umm...do I get in line? They won't be here until later....oh goodness...what to do, what to do? I want good seats....can I really sit here for nearly 5 hours waiting...sitting on hard, cold concrete??
.........Yes....Yes, I can.....For Edward, I can endure ANYTHING!!!!
So, here I am...at 7:45 p.m....already in line for a movie that won't start until 12:30 a.m. Umm...how do I keep from getting bored? Ugh...should have thought about this beforehand...Well, at least there's some VERY INTERESTING people watching. (do these kids look in a mirror before leaving their house? honestly...)
(8:45 p.m.): What is WITH all of these screaming tweeners?! I'm getting a twitch from all the high pitched squeals! Seriously little girls! Is that REALLY necessary?! Mr. Pattinson is NOT here...neither is Taylor....so, what is with the yelping??!!
(10:30 p.m.): First friend finally arrives! Hooray!!! A buddy! OOOH...and she brought me Starbucks!!! Alright, friend...you're forgiven for being so late.
(11:00 p.m.): Second friend arrives! Yippee! Now, we're all here and can get all giddy!
By this time, I am having to shift about every 30 seconds because my bottom hurts, my feet are cramping up...my back is aching...(I think I'm too old for this)
(12:15 a.m.): THEY'RE LETTING US IN!!!!! (ahh...more screaming...lovely)
Wepush and shove carefully make our way to the theatre, and find PERFECT seats! Ahhhh...comfy, plush theatre seats....
NEW MOON BEGINS!!!!!
I won't spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it yet...but, I WILL say that I was very pleased with the movie and thought it followed the book REALLY well!
Was is worth waiting in line for 5 hours aroundannoying innocent teens and tweens?
That would be a big...
YES!

Blank...
Seriously...I've just been totally blank lately when I think about what I want to write....it's like my creativity has taken a vacation and I don't know when it will return.
On another note...I totally put up all of my Christmas decorations already!! Ok, ok...I KNOW I'm getting some major stern looks out there (I used to be one of you)...but, I have a good reason for putting it up so early.
I. Am. Never. Home! I mean NEVER! (it seems that way anyway) And, Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year! So, I wanted to be able to enjoy the colors, lights and smells for more than just a few days here and there. This way, I'll get to see my festive bits and bobs and actually enjoy them!
I love that I keep a full calendar, but sometimes just looking at it wears me out...haha. I don't have a free weekend until after the first of the year! And, during the week, there seems to be something almost every night! Don't get me wrong...every single thing is FUN stuff...parties, bible studies, dinners, sorority alumni events, etc. But, it IS nice every now and then to just go home...sit on my comfy couch...and just stretch out with a glass of wine in one hand, book in the other and just relaxxxxxxx......
OH...in other news...I've got my New Years Eve plans locked down and I am SUPER STOKED!!! Me and 3 of my girlfriends will be traveling to Vail, Colorado for 3 days of skiing, shopping and relaxing!!!
Here is where we are staying!!!!
(unreal, right?!)

'Cause I get a 1000 hugs...From 10,000 lightning bugs...
(That title has NOTHING to do with this post, but that song just makes me SO happy..haha)
So, I've had a nasty cold the past several days and I'm hoping it sort of goes away within the next few hours, because some girlfriends and I are driving down to Austin for the UT game! I LOVE college football! There's just so much energy and excitement in the air...and everyone is pumped up and positive! It's always a good time!
TEXAS! FIGHT!!!!
Hope everyone has a super-dee-duper weekend!!! Sending out hugs, smooches and laughter to all of you!

"Undy 5000" - 2009
This past Saturday, my parents and I walked in the Undy 5000 benefiting Colon Cancer Awareness! We raised quite a bit of money and I'm soooo thankful to everyone who gave so generously!
Here are my parents and I at the finish line...
I'm so proud of both of my parents and love them dearly. Thanks to all of my blog friends who constantly listen to me gush about them...I'm sure it must get old..haha....but, I sincerely cannot wait to pass on the legacy to my children one day that my parents have passed on to me.

Halloween.....through the years.....(Warning!! Picture Overload!!)
Yes, yes...this post is a little late...but, I thought it would still be fun!
I don't know if my parents were trying to hint at something...but, my first costumes were a witch and a devil...haha
With my beautiful momma...
She still makes me smile like that...
HEY! Where ya goin'??
Spooky witch...
(don't you just love the orange shag carpet...haha)
With my puppy, Beaumont...loved that dog...
As Raggedy Ann...umm...can you tell I knew what to do when the camera was on??
Already a little diva....sheesh...
Ballerina...
I LOVED Raggedy Ann SOO much, that I had to dress as her again...and I wore one of my doll's outfits..haha
Again....with the posing....
Yep...that's right folks...She Ra, Princess of Power!!!
This was 8th grade...I was attempting to be all sexy and grown up..haha
Now, that you experienced my blast from the past...here is this past weekend's festivities....
The Fashion Industry Gallery hosted a party called "Fright Fete" and it was LOTS of fun!!! There were some pretty outrageous and fun costumes that night...(remember, I live in a downtown area and there are ALL sorts of characters...haha)
With my girls...
This dude was dressed as Edward Cullen (he looked NOTHING like Edward, but I let him pretend-bite me anyway....lol!)
Me and my girl, Alex
I dressed as a Candy Corn Witch, by the way...
Halloween is always such a fun night! But, I've decided that next year...I'm skipping out on the party and going Trick-or-Treating instead....
I MISS HAVING BUCKETS OF CANDY!!! ;)
